Receiving/Shipping

  • Six dock doors to minimize bottlenecks
  • Loading docks that are functional and durable, safe and secure
 

Ingredient Storage

  • Separate storage area for ingredients with allergens
  • Pallet identification system that supports full product traceability
  • Ingredients containing allergens are properly labeled and controlled
 

Staging

  • Batch staging and processing
  • Dedicated utensils, containers and tools
  • Scale calibration system in place
 

Mixing

  • Computer-controlled kettles prepare sauces and dips in precise batches
  • Highly trained mixing personnel
  • Clean in place (CIP) system assures product integrity
 

Processing/Cooking

  • Both scrape surface heat exchangers and shell and tube are utilized for processing
  • Batch processing ensures chef-created quality and particulate integrity
  • Batch processing enables minimum runs to maintain product freshness year-round
 

Filling / Packaging

  • Hot fill (pH controlled) and rotary retort (heat controlled) capabilities
  • Sauces and dips are sealed in a variety of jar configurations, large pouches, and bulk totes or drums
  • Product is quickly cooled to preserve freshness and flavor
  • All products are shelf stable
  • Fully automated labeling, casing, and palletizing equipment
 

Warehousing

  • New, state-of-the-art finished product warehouse
  • Racking allows efficient use of space and minimizes damage
  • Entrance and exit of finished goods are well controlled
